Swimming Pool and Hot Tub are Extras
There are extra features and touches which can be ordered at an additional cost as follows, please email or telephone us the specifics of your requirements so we can tailor a quote accordingly. Please also read our Rules and Safety page in full.
Please also note that as a general rule the swimming pool will not be available from the end of September until around the beginning of April. This is slightly weather dependent hence we do not fix a specific date however, this is an extra and so we will discuss the availability of the pool with you on enquiry.
List of Inclusives and Additional Charges to the normal charge
1. Hot Tub (Outside) (2.2m x 2.2m)
Inclusive of the hot tub charge is the ability to offer you a range of special essences so you can choose your desired flavour, we then add this to the tub during it's preparation process ready for your arrival to make your experience even more luxurious. The tub is hygienically prepared for each and every guest.
Additional Charges. If the lid is left off the hot tub water will escape and the temperature will drop this costs us approximately £40 over a two days to replace and reheat which will result in the cost being recouped from our guests.
2. Swimming Pool (8.3m x 4.1m)
Additional Charges. The cover over the pool has been broken in the past or not recovered at the end of the swim this has resulted in the pool burning excess fuel to reheat. The excessive £25 per day in costs will be added to your stay if this rule is not adhered to. If the cover breaks please advise us immediately and we will send over our maintenance engineer to attend to the situation.

Cinema Room/Games Room - Added for 2021
Whatever the weather there is always something to do at Surf Bay House. We can offer this facility at an extra, but reasonable, cost so you can enjoy the benefits.
Added in 2021 - We have incorporated a Cinema/Games room into the large garage space so you can now enjoy, table tennis, Pool, Table Football or sit in the lovely cinema seats, relax and watch a film.

As you turn off the road into Surf Bay you can park in front of the house and walk up the side to the large white gates which are the entrance to the private area of the lodge.

Enjoy BBQ's in Solitude
We provide special unbreakable glassware so you are able to enjoy a lovely glass of wine on the terrace while you cook on the bbq and take in the views. The bbq is an extra cost so please ask for more details. The terrace is a quiet sun trap where you can bask and relax in peace.
